This is the life-size fiberglass bull totem that guards the Plainview Wal-Mart. Or at least I like to think of it that way. (I am not just being an arch hipster with these photos; we went in there and bought groceries, since Wal-Mart seems to be the only place in some of these towns that sells food.) We saw some cool old buildings in Plainview, and a lot of strip malls. James Dean is from here. It says so on the big water tower.
