New Mexico and Texas

After leaving Taos, we drove south and east out of New Mexico and over to Amarillo (that's "Ama-rilla") Texas. Now we're stopped at a rest area about 200 miles north of Austin. Texas has amazing rest areas, new and pretty and comfy, with free wireless internet! It's a bit slow though, which is why this post has no pictures. I'll come back and put them up later--we got some really cool ones of a derelict gas station in a Route 66 ghost town, and a life-size fiberglass cow in James Dean's hometown.
